Plus, Google’s “smarts” are trade secrets, fiercely protected. If they don’t keep their trade secrets, then they know money-grubbers, like the founders of content farms will game them. The problem with Online Business is a person like Chris Knight or Mike Quoc, who knows just a little more than we do, convince us into joining them on their mission to game Google, without even knowing we are doing it.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

I posted that on Factoidz about two years ago. Back then I truly believed in Factoidz. I thought they were in line with Google, and really wanted to provide quality content as they shared the revenue fairly with those who produced that quality content. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

Then he flat out started ripping people off. Then he started with these hokey “product reviews”, paid link building -and now it’s all over for him. However, he made a shitload of money! </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

Myself and a core team of others are building something from the ground up, that is going to be everything I was hoping Factoidz would be. I kept a few tools in my box, and didn’t give Mike ALL my help. In light of some of the changes that I predicted, and happened, I am confident that I have a vision and a feasible plan for all of us hard working content producers to rise up out of the ashes of these content farms, and not only enjoy great success...But the best part: All of our hard work to this day for these content farms...Will NOT go to waste! Consider that work as planting “content seeds” that grew into seedlings (on these content farms) that now need to be transplanted and cultivated into a crop that is going to produce fruit -indefinitely!</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

We still have a few slots available for those, like myself, who can devote full time work to setting this up. Wanna be on the Masthead? Either way, if you are just looking to do what you were hoping to do on these content farms, get paid a decent wage (we consider .03 per word minimum fair) to produce quality content, and show off your talent and smarts...Join us! You need to be willing to take Internet content production to the next level. There is somewhat of a steep “learning curve.” There is a writing application that you would need to master, that is key to the success of this project. You would need to learn about SEO, and especially the difference between Black Hat and White Hat methods of link building and search engine optimization. We are going to be “white hat” i.e., we will work </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">with</span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> Google’s vision to provide their search engine users with a positive experience. We don’t try to get over on them! Once we prove to Google that we are on their side, I expect they will adjust to support us, instead of changing things like they recently did to shake off the parasites that leeched off them. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I know this post sounds like I’m recruiting...We plan to do just that, however, I’m a little self conscious about our sites right now...They are a mess, an organized mess with a focused direction, but maybe still just messy enough to scare away good talent! See, that’s what attracted me to Factoidz in the first place: they were crisp and clean and organized right at the start. So, with that in mind, I’d still like to hear if you are interested -but you’ve been warned! I will wait a bit longer before starting the official “Project Exodus” recruitment campaign. In other words, look into it, but hold off on telling your friends just yet!</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Go to: <a href="http://bangaricontentgallery.com/2011/07/12/bangari-will-get-you-paid-well-for-your-talent/">“Bangari Content Gallery get paid well for your talent”</a> and fill out an application. Give us a little time, but one of us will get back to you. We have got about $5,000 in paid work to date, selling articles for .04 per word, paying the content producers .03. We worked these contracts a bit outside of our business model, but we needed the money! LOL ...The work I’m pursuing now will be more in line with what we are planning for our long term operations. However, it will still pay a minimum of .03 per word. or $30 for a photo, cuz as they say, a picture is worth 1000 words! Photographers, videographers and writers wanted!</span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;">Catherine Marks said...</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">There is something I don't quite understand here. Kevin,You were talking about a career with the Catholic church..which I would assume is a celibate lifestyle... I remember Chrissy telling me you wanted to be a priest. My response to her was " Why would a guy who wanted to be a priest be on an online dating site?" I told her to stay away from this guy ..Because his story didn't add up ( he could be any number of things and she she had young girls ).(Chrissy doesn't have the greatest record for picking men)While I'm still waiting for the outcome of the trial ( In our country's court systems everyone is innocent until proven guilty). I hardly look to someone like you and see you as a hero. I find your actions predatory at least. Someone who trolls online dating sites for women to write blogs and stories about is...distasteful at best. Because of the the old media adage "There is no such thing as bad publicity." this will be my only public statement ( you may retaliate any way you like I won't respond).Ironically, you may be helping the defense's case.... The more you try to go public (purposely seeking national news programs to promote your "story")the more the defense can say she can'tget a fair trial due to media coverage.</span></span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Catherine, please don't run away. I truly believe the "tone" of all this is about to change for the better. Shalom. I think you could be intrumental in causing that to happen. I think you are a very sensible person, even if you don't hold me in very high esteem. Your assumption is wrong. A "religious vocation" does not always mean celibacy. I've only been considering the Priesthood for a year. I have been discerning the Deaconate for over five years. A deacon can marry before he is ordained, with his wife's permission, but if he survives her, he cannot remarry, and must remain celibate. I was open and honest about my attitude concerning sexuality on my online dating profiles. I didn't explain it well on this blog with my "test drive" metaphor, so here goes... As a Catholic layman, I believe marriage is a Sacrament. Making love within a marriage is a Sacramental act. Sex outside of marriage, to me, is a sacrelige. It is equivilent to sneaking the Eucharist home, and feeding it to my dog...then trying to justify it by saying "Jesus loves my dog too" and "I just can't stand the thought of Heaven without my dog...I want him to have eternal life too" </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I talked at length with Chrissy about this stuff. She pretended to agree, as a Christian woman...Yet I found out after she went to jail, that she told some of the many other men that she met online, and had sex with, that she was frustrated that she couldn't get me to play hide the salami with her. She is the predator. Don't be sexist. Chrissy is a prime example that <i>men</i> as well as woman need to mind their security, and exercise some caution when meeting new people in any forum, online or real world. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Spiritually motivated altruism doesn't mean there can't be any form of a "what's in it for me column" A firefighter runs into a burning building that everyone else is running out of. Does that make him crazy? Just because she gets a salary, benefits and a good retirement doesn't make her opportunistic. These people are still heros, or at least, professionals. I'm trying to do a professional job as a writer, a blogger, a new form of reporter. Promoting and marketing my story is part of my work. I was proud to have served our American justice system in '98 by sitting on a grand jury. I feel that it was my duty to do that, as well as work under the Vermont State Police in this murder investigation. I don't want to interfere with the justice system. The National news outlets I'm talking to are equally concerned, and even more qualified at not messing with the wheels of justice. So, they are currently gathering up the story, but are not going to report it until after the justice system has made its determinations. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I really wish we could move past the issue of whether I'm opportunistic or not, especially when I'm honestly admitting that to an extent, I am. There are much bigger issues on the table. If I'm a hero or a zero doesn't matter in light of more important things that should be discussed right now. I know it's bad form for a print journalist to make himself part of the story...or to create the news they report, but I'm not a print journalist, I'm a blogger and an aspiring book author. I can't help it. But I really feel like it's past the time that I should be out of the spotlight, and just a source of information, especially for those close to the situation. I will tell the truth. I'll try hard to limit my opinions, and just provide factual answers to any questions that anyone asks. I'm surprised that it seems to be pissing people off that I know things that they don't...because I'm not trying to withold that info from anyone. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">If I am not supposed to be talking about this, I think the State's Attorney would tell me so. I would definitely shut up out of respect for a fair trial for Chrissy. That was a very valid point you made Catherine. Please stay in contact with me. I want to give you and Charlie's relatives some info, privately, that I think could prevent a bad turn for Cat (your namesake) It doesn't matter if you folks don't like me or don't trust me, you need to be in that kid's corner, especially now that I can't be -in the least. I have the information you need to be effective in protecting her from any more loss and disappointment.</span></span>Kevin Lelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16131037919903735546noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7891853385573131791.post-23505305557262380942011-08-03T05:46:00.000-07:002018-05-18T12:45:05.197-07:00Blood relatives: Don't believe their lies<div style="background-color: transparent;"><span id="internal-source-marker_0.5636446313001215" style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Hi Corrina,</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I really miss you and your sister. I think this is the longest we have gone without seeing or talking to each other since I’ve known you. I want you to know I love the both of you very much. When your mother knew she would be going to jail for murdering her husband, robbing you of a good parent that I know you both loved very much, and she asked me to be your guardian, and told me that you both requested that I be, I didn’t hesitate for a second. I gladly accepted that responsibility.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I didn’t know if it would mean I would be a foster father who lived with you and raised you as my own through your final years of childhood, or if you would end up with blood relatives, and I would make sure to always keep in contact with you, and do what I could to support you, like I have over the last year, with hugs, a listening ear, advice and what little money I have. Now it’s looking like I’m not going to be allowed to do any of that...except maybe the money part. That breaks my heart, as well as infuriates me. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">As you said, through angry tears, when I broke the news to you that your mother confessed to driving the car into the tree on purpose, killing your Dad, “What right did she have?!” I’m now asking the same question. What right do your blood relatives have to destroy yet another healthy, caring relationship in your lives?! Especially in such a devious, underhanded and cold blooded way as to accuse me of being a danger to you and your sister! I would never hurt you! I risked my life to rescue you from those abusive and neglectful circumstances that you were in, while these same blood relatives stood by aware, yet did nothing to help.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Your grandfather, grandmother, and sister Brandie pretended to be my friend. I and Mr. Wetzel invited them into our home, to share a meal and discuss your future. It was all a ruse to get my address, and then Paul turned around and gave that information to your mother’s drug suppliers, forcing me to have to move out of the Wetzel’s house, so as not to put them in danger, once these same low-lifes began to threaten my life. You told me you’ve known that your grandfather has been in cahoots with these people since you were seven. Then they took the key to the apartment that I spent a week with hardly any sleep, setting up for us, and he moved in... leaving me homeless. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I know you girls are in a lot of emotional pain. I know you are very confused, now more than ever, especially when you have your mother and oldest sister saying that your dad, Charlie, was no good, abusive, and a danger to you. Now you are being told the same lies about me. Don’t believe it! You both are being taught that I did a bad thing by forcing your mother to face justice for murdering your father. That’s how gangsters and mobsters reason. Don’t buy into that either! If you do, the violent, disgusting turmoil that has infiltrated your young lives will never end. You will have the rug pulled out from under you time after time, for the rest of your lives, because you will trust people who will hurt you and mistrust people who would take a bullet to protect you. Worse, you could end up becoming dangerous liars yourselves.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Even though I was tricked into thinking their was a "no contact order" in affect, and haven't been in touch for over three weeks, I have been keeping myself aware of your situation through others, and I have more advice for you, especially regarding you and Zach. Remember the things I already told you about how you both should conduct yourselves in that relationship. I won’t say any more here, because I plan to copy this letter to the judge who will be hearing the case your grandmother brought against me for a protection order for stalking or sexual assault. Corrina, your sister needs you as much as you think you need your boyfriend. Please be there for her. You are still the most sensible person in her life right now.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">God bless the both of you, I pray for you constantly...</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

Here are some points I'd like to highlight to help you investigate things properly to determine which of the family members may be the best to take placement of the girls, or if they would be best off placed with me as the girls preferred since the beginning.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span></span><ul><li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Chrissy kept the house in deplorable condition...This depressed Corrina to the point of apathy, and she gave up on trying to clean up after her mother, and manage a house in between trying to manage a teen-aged social life, school, church activities, homework, and her many creative projects.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Chrissy let it get to the point that there was dog shit all over the floor, like six to twelve piles at any given time, dirty laundry covered the bathroom floor, food was rotting in the fridge and all over the counters, and the girls were constantly getting "stomach bugs" which were really cases of food poisoning...about twice a month.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Chrissy has never really worked, and is a self proclaimed "lazy bitch" and only cleans her house in preparation for one of her Internet sex buddies to come over, one of whom, was having sex with her one day, in the living room. Corrina had stayed home from school that day, came down the stairs, and got an eye-full. Gross! They casually said "hello" to her and laughed it off.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Chrissy is always broke because by my estimates, from her bank records and my knowledge of her expenses, she is spending $700-$800 per month on pills, weed, cigarettes, and an exercise machine. The power and/or Internet is always getting shut off. She hasn't paid for gas for the stove since running out months ago. In October of 2010, we came back from our trip to CT and RI to no heat, no electric and no water. The girls had to stay with Chrissy's mother that night.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Marilynn, Chrissy's mother was aware of these circumstances to a great degree. She didn't step in. She didn't help out. I asked Chrissy why she and her mother didn't "pool their resources" and live together and take care of the girls. Chrissy told me that would be impossible.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I understand that Marilynn has struggled with mental illness. She is a sweet lady as far as I can tell, and Chrissy is definitely a bully, who doesn't tolerate criticism even when it's due. However, Marilynn failed to get help for her grand daughters by at least reporting to your agency the neglect these girls were suffering.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Chrissy told Marilynn that she confessed to murdering Charlie, and would be making me guardian when she had to face the charges. Marilynn was okay with that from what Chrissy told me. Marilynn and her friend Jan indicated to me that they were very happy that I had stepped in to take care of the girls until the courts would decide where they should be placed.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I initially expected to be guardian temporarily, until I started to find out that none of the blood relatives seem well suited to care for them properly. Chrissy and the girls told me this, however, I didn't completely believe it until I saw for myself.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Marilynn, Chrissy, or anyone else who may have known, bothered to tell the girls that Chrissy was taking responsibility for killing their father intentionally. They left that task in my lap. I was the one who had to break the news to the girls, so they wouldn't have to hear it from their friends after it had been on TV.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Paul sends $60 per month allowance to his grand daughters, and seems to have a good relationship with the girls, however, Corrina said that although she loves him, I am the most responsible adult in her life right now. Like Paul, I am not a rich guy, but I spent about $200 per month on traveling to Newport about twice a month for almost a year, buying food, paying for certain things like Corrina's year book, halloween costumes, etc, and I spent many hours cleaning that sty as best I could. </span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">When Chrissy went into custody, I spent an entire week, on about seven hours sleep, moving them into the apartment on South St. Because the girls had just been hit with the news, I couldn't make them work along side me, moving. I let them spend time with their friends, or play on the computer while I worked hard. Paul, Marilynn and Brandi did nothing to help with that.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I scrubbed and disinfected all the furniture, and set it all up in the apartment on South Street. Paul took the key from me whe he came with the Hinesburg police to take the girls out of my custody. Now he is staying in the apartment.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">When I suggested to Paul that he come and stay in Vermont and we get a place together, pooling our resources to take care of the girls, and setting up a child-safe, two adult system like the VIRTUS training I've completed recommends, with the Grandmother close by making it that much easier, he acted like he liked the idea, then next thing I know....</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I caught Paul collaborating with two of Chrissy's drug dealers who were threatening me. (I'll post the threatening correspondence at the bottom of this, and explain it if need be) I told Corrina, via text "I just found out that your Pappa is in cahoots with two of your mother's drug dealers." She responded "I've known that since I was seven"</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Brandi and Corrina do not get along. Brandie upbraided her publicly on facebook, and has recently removed her comments that were hurtful to her little sister, after some other friends voiced their disgust with what she said. She criticized Corrina for posting about how she felt in this horrific situation, which was very positive, considering, telling her she was only trying to drum up pity, and spread family secrets, that she knew were already public info, and all over the news.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I went to great lengths to make sure the girls pets, two small dogs and two cats, could remain with the girls...Along with having to take care of my one large dog. Now, Paul has indicated that he wants to get rid of them. He won't even bring them to me so I can foster them until the kids can have them back.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Even if I am not the best choice as full time guardian, I am still a trusted family friend who loves these girls, and I am concerned with their well being. I risked my life to get the kids out of this abusive situation, and now I am being prevented from speaking to them, or having any contact. It is poor foster parenting to sever healthy relationships with trustworthy adult friends, especially when you replace them with sketchy people like Ray Benson, one of Chrissy's drug suppliers, who seems to be going out of his way in an unnatural way to get close to the girls. While I was Guardian, I never allowed him to be alone with either of the girls, even though he seemed to be constantly vying to make it happen. I wouldn't have let him get as close as he did, but he helped us move, and claimed to be a former social worker with a daughter who just started working for DCF. Please check these facts.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I understand through Corrina, that although Brandi and Paul are not "slobbering drunks" they drink often, and a lot.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I smoke weed occasionally, and did so with Chrissy so as not to "blow my cover" while getting evidence for the State Police. It also enabled me to find out who she was getting it from, and what kind of people were around the girls. I've gone years at a time without touching the stuff, and would gladly set it aside again if it disqualified me from being their guardian. I seldom drink alcohol, and never have more than two drinks at a time. I've only been drunk twice in the last 22 years.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Chrissy tried to keep her pill use secret from me. I never participated in that. I was threatened in a serious way by one of her pill suppliers, Charlie Cabral, who later threatened to put a hit on me with the Hell's Angels, and make false grand theft accusations against me to the State Police. After I handled that problem, it made Chrissy suspicious that I might be recording her many confessions, and she threatened to kill me if I told on her. I had to smooth that over, and continued to gather info for the VSP for eight more months, while working to get the kids out of that Hell-hole. </span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Concerning Charlie's side of the family: Remember, they are not blood related to Corrina. They play obvious favorites, and Chrissy and the girls are aware of this. I've witnessed it myself. They came all the way up from Mass, and only spent ten minutes visiting the girls.</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">The remainder of the time, about an hour, Tina, Charlie's sister, and her two children, Stephanie and George, spent screwing me to the wall. Tina, instead of thanking me for risking my ass to protect her niece and get justice for her brother, she accused me of having something to do with the murder, of trying to get my hands on the insurance settlement, of being one of Chrissy’s many sex-buddies, said the apartment that I set up, clean as a whistle was a "dump" and said she would kill Chrissy as soon as she got out of jail, if she ever did. </span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">The only way these relatives, Charlies side, are taking care of the girls are if they go to Massachusetts. They wouldn't split up the sisters, but would be "tolerating" Corrina in order to keep Cat. </span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Brandi and Paul who live together in MA, would prefer to take the girls out of Vermont and away from their friends, school, church, etc. I along with Corrina had to put a lot of pressure on them to get Paul to leave Brandi with the apartment in MA, and relocate here to VT if he wanted to be guardian. I'm sure he is going to want to return to MA, with the girls, first chance he gets...Wouldn't that make it difficult to work the case between two different state agencies?</span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">When praying with Cat, she asked God that her mom's time in jail help her "clear her conscience" so that she could get well and be healthy when she finally came home. I couldn't have said it better myself, and told Chrissy that it would be good for her soul, and it was the right thing to do to turn herself in. She knew I would see to it that the girls would be well taken care of. </span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Once she found out I was the informant that got her busted, she freaked out, and now from behind bars, she is going against the best plan, one she proposed and the girls agreed to, and trying to out me from her daughters' lives. She is teaching them that you should hate someone who doesn't help you get away with first degree murder. What are we, in the Mafia? Thankfully the girls don't seem to be buying into this line of thinking. Corrina is well aware of my role in bringing her mother to justice, and told me that I did the right thing. </span></span></li>
<li style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; list-style-type: disc; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">I asked Corrina, during a time when she was still very angry, what she though would be a fair punishment for her mother...She said "I'm not going to lie, I believe in the death penalty" Ironically, Chrissy told me the same thing during one of her confessions. I told Corrina that I could not have turned her mother in if there was capital punishment in Vermont. This experience has changed my opinion on the death penalty, and I communicated that to Corrina. I tried to allow Corrina to be angry, yet reminded her about the goodness of forgiveness, at least to some degree. The violence myself and these young people have been steeped in is sickening, and the cycle needs to stop, now!</span></span></li>

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">That's it. Don't threaten me. I will hurt you. Pedophile? No, never. Corrina and Cat are extremely intelligent, have known me well for about a year, and are at an age where they could tell if I was some kind of pervert. What you smell is your own shit because you have your head up your ass. Call me a pedophile to my face and you're going to end up with my boot in your ass too. But I'm sure that will never happen, because you are a pussy. You proved it when you let your wife deal with the conflict you caused, while you hid in the house like a coward. You, like a lot of other people, want to comment on the situation without knowing a fraction of the facts. Shut the fuck up. Stop selling drugs. Take care of your family. Mind your own business, and get a life you piece of shit. Stay far away from me, or you are going to end up behind bars or in a heap. Is that clear?</span></span></li>

Who is the "other person outside the family" that concerns you? Ray Benson? See, this is where if you didn't come off like a dickhead, you could actually be a help to the girls in this situation. You are right to be concerned about him, even if you are way off about me. I wouldn't call Ray a pedophile, but he is a bit of a screwball. Corrina doesn't get a good vibe from him, and that's all I need to know. He isn't going to get close to the girls. He's only been on the scene for a couple months, and is totally sketching me out too at this point. He has already been told to keep his nose out of it from now on. I don't think he is a bad guy, and he has given a hell of a lot more real help than anyone else has.</span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Tahoma; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Tahoma; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">But he is stoned stupid, and is all over the map, so is officially out of the loop at this point. In 1999 Chris Knight founded EzineArticles.com, a useless content farm and the ultimate made for AdSense site, by purchasing several thousand articles from ArticleCity.com. My source could not confirm how much Knight paid for this body of content, but many of us who have written or spun articles to "get our start" in writing online, are guilty of accepting as little as $3.00 for seven hundred words, er, ghostwritten...Duh, we got our start, yeah, and some practice...Knight got millions from his shrewdness. Our own stupidity? Yup. Anyone who has ever ghostwritten an article for $3.00, run a check...Watch how many show up at EzineArticles and other content farms as well as made for Adsense sites.</span><br />

They posted AdSense all around and bada-bing bada-boom...Return on investment! Now he needed to get </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">more </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">content for this ultimate MFA site, that is; "made for AdSense" as </span><a href="http://www.weberinternetmarketing.com/niche-income-site/comment-page-1/#comment-5826" style="background-color: transparent;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000099; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Steve Weber </span></a><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">coined the phrase. Can you say "hypocrite?" How 'bout "control freak?" Strawboss. Three clicks is a long way to travel down the Information Super Highway and the revenue as compared to Chris Knight’s first fruits are like the wormy apples you pick up off the ground. It's no fun to wade through piles of shitty, empty content so that you are forced to click an ad in a desperate attempt to get some specific information. Now Google has figured out a way to shake out the higher quality content. Google is more concerned with the quality of the user's experience than the quantity of click-throughs. AdWords purchasers sure don’t mind less clicks divided by more conversions. </span><br />

I was proud of what we original writers were accomplishing in terms of quality. I liked the sleek look of the site. I enjoyed just writing...they chose photos and posted everything while keeping good track of traffic and other analytical data. At first the deal was a 50/50 split of Adsense revenue. Fair enough. So, I promoted Factoidz, becoming an unwitting shill. Turns out, Mike Quoc is a con artist, much like Chris Knight. </span><a href="http://thissitetaken.weebly.com/mike-quoc-creator-of-the-factoidz-writing-ponzi.html" style="background-color: transparent;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000099; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Factoidz is a Ponzi scheme</span></a><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">. The whole “buzz it up” feature on factoidz was my idea. He had awesome writers that were producing really good stuff, in a way that Wikipedia can’t. So he fired them. He was trying to be a “for profit” Wikipedia. Step away from Wikipedia Mr. Quoc. They are the fifth most popular Web site because they write unbiased facts. They don’t pander to advertisers. I have donated. I was hired directly by Mike Quoc to write reviews for different dating sites and other products like “</span><a href="http://factoidz.com/your-baby-can-read/" style="background-color: transparent;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000099; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Baby Can Read”</span></a><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> when he first started looking to degrade Factoidz into a content farm. Mike Quoc, with my </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">free</span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> help, schooled Knight on user content generated MFA sites, taking it to a level that Knight never could. Quoc’s users were not only generating all the content, they were also promoting it and the site. On top of that, they were building the site. In a little over two years, Factoidz accumulated over 1000 backlinks. Now he is flat out paying people to create them, $5 to $20 each...talk about beating a dead horse. Where Quoc turned against his own volunteers, Chris Knight back-stabbed his own in-house team. His original programmer, a source for this article, was fired soon after developing all the alchemy that took other people’s free, intellectual property, and turned it into gold for Knight’s pockets. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

Not to mention I saw a lot of this coming, so I kept a few cards up my sleeve. Here is my advice for everyone who is still onboard these sinking ships known as Content Farms:</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Get your own domain on Wordpress or Google Sites or something. I loved the layout at Factoidz when it first came out a couple years ago. I liked that they did all the publishing stuff, attaching pictures...that I guess they were stealing around the Internet....But now, it’s easy to have a site of your own, and do these things yourself. Or, pairs, or groups of content producers could team up with promoters and agents and techies and build something good together and share the spoils fairly. Google docs, and cloud computing makes it easy. With Kindle and Amazon, ebooks are in demand. Writers of this day and age can completely cut out the publisher as a middleman. Imagine? No use for Quoc or Knight.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Just write good content. Make a name for yourself. News is best, even if it’s told from a historical and personal perspective. -Remember, we are not journalists, we are bloggers, we can be part of the story and biased. Keep it kinda local, that’s if you want to make your revenue over the long haul through advertising. If you like cash on the barrel head, then pursue gigs working for Web sites. Stick to your expertise, and charge .03 to.06 per word, an average package deal for content running about $2,000.00 for one site. Ideally, I think a writer should dabble in each, and of course have at least one novel going, right?</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I’ve recently built a private site, called Bangari Content Studios, where I’ve been landing a lot of this type of work, and a small group of writers are churning it out, open source style. I could use help, especially from promoters and techies, and I’m paying these .03-.06/word rates for writing. I’m even negotiating to have by lines included with most content, eliminating “ghost writing” for the most part and getting writers the credit and exposure they deserve. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">And then there are affiliate deals that content producers can make with Site owners...But that’s a card I’m keeping up my sleeve until I see how all this works out. I predict that the Internet, especially since the advance of social networking, and in light of this Panda change in Google algorithms, is going to offer excellent opportunities for poor hacks like us who cut our teeth, and got our practice, honed our skills even, and learned how easy it is to get screwed by sketchy schleps like Mike Quoc and Chris Knight and his gang.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br class="kix-line-break" />Internet writers are going to become correspondents in small social circles. Unlike print journalism, the ratios for correspondent to reader will be smaller. The Burlington Press has circulation of about 50,000 newspapers per day. A Blogger can make a living on about 5000-10000 readers per day. 5000 face book friends (the limit) could get you those kinds of numbers, but remember, traffic comes from many sources. Think like a magazine editor. The quality of your content has to be stellar. Team up with others; photographers, video editors, transcribers, techies... Multimedia is important, and is going to become much more important. Make a name for yourself. Inject some of your personality into the content you create. Get a following. Be a good correspondent for them. Sell only things that you can stand behind, and have bought or used yourself and liked. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

If you have built an empire at Ezine like </span><a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d85ZH2ExKaX-wsY911MSyGS0KV52NWrMOKkbrWQaVdo/http%3A%2F%2Fjeffherring.com%2F" style="background-color: transparent;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000099; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jeff Herring</span></a><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> has, awesome! If you became a featured writer at Factoidz, great! Look at the traffic your articles are getting. These content farms are probably making $5/1000 page views just in AdSense. With your own site, there are other ways to make revenue, more targeted revenue, like affiliate revenue. You can promote or sell products that you really like, and know something about.</span><br />

I’m going out on a limb here, but I think that if we take our content down and repost it on our own sites, we’ll bury the content farms. I’ve already noticed that my new blogger site, </span><a href="http://judithgiustovskevinleland.blogspot.com/2011/03/camels-and-shepherds-and-spys-oh-my.html" style="background-color: transparent;"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000099; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Camels and Shepherds and Spys...Oh my! </span></a><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> is outranking the content farms for a Google search of my name, and I haven’t done any SEO work to make that happen. If Mike tries to stop you, talk to Ginger Baxter aka Sara Valor. She and many other contributors to Factoidz, like Clarsie Dotes, forced Mike Quoc to remove their content, leaving not a trace. He changed his TOS so many times from the original (that he stole from another content farm) here is what a pissed off Factoider found out:</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"></span><br />

By the way, have you read them lately? In Paragraph 7 he says we own our copyrights and content; then in Paragraphs 8 and 13 it says he has the right to use or modify (or, for example, make a MOVIE) out of them--and even that he has the right to take action for anybody else to publish them. I don't like the etymology of the word "step". It comes from "steop" meaning deprived, or bereaved. Modern psychology likes to say "stepfamilies are born out of loss" This idea and feeling about a step relationship gives an already confusing and complicated family dynamic a negative connotation. Because in today's culture the loss that these step relationships are born from is usually caused by divorce and remarriage, it's assumed that the "real" parent is still around and probably causing problems. It is looked at as less than the ideal and outside of God's will. One man, one woman bound in Holy Matrimony, raising the children they procreate, together under one roof is the ideal. That can't be denied, it is God's will. But do these ideal circumstances automatically bring about ideal relationships completely within God's will? I don't think so.</span><div class="spacer_3" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 15px;"></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Some people think the word "step" describes how the new parent suddenly "stepped" into the life of the child and the place of the biological parent. This connotation isn't any improvement on the outlook. This is why I like the word "foster" in place of step. The definition of this word hits closer to the mark of what it means to be a father to a non-biological child. Foster means to nurture, support, feed, bring up. But in this culture, this would signify that the acting parent is getting paid by the state to nurture the child, so that takes all the wind out of that sail. Barney, the quasi-satanic purple dinosaur says "a family is people and a family is love" but this is completely over simplifying, and does not define anything, especially the important roles with an associated title each person in the family has.</span><div class="spacer_3" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 15px;"></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">It seems the only way that any prefixes to father can be shed is by legal adoption, but then before you know it you're back to "adoptive" parent. There are always problems with the way people look at these situations too. They are intrigued and wonder about the circumstances that brought about the adoption. Was the child orphaned by death, abandonment, loss of parental rights? I won't even get into surrogate, that's one that creates even more familiar intrigue. Unfortunately there is no suitable title for a person who is in a position as important as that of a father. If the responsibilities and duties of this role are taken on and carried out correctly then there is hardly a discernable difference. So whenever I used to get called "Mr. Lambert", being confused with my stepson's biological father, I've been known to correct the person by responding "it's Mr. Leland, John isn't the fruit of my loins, but I love him just the same". Then I get a chuckle out of their reaction to being corrected with such weird language, and informed at the same time of what our relationship is really about -without a proper title to describe it.</span><div class="spacer_3" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 15px;"></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">What it is about for me and John is a lot the same as it was for Mordecai and his foster daughter Esther. Mordecai stepped into the life of his orphaned little cousin and had taken Esther as his own daughter when her mother and father died. It's as simple as that. He took her in and nurtured and encouraged her. He stood watch as her guardian and looked out for her interests, and found an opportunity for her that put Esther in position as Queen. He did this very magnanimously. It turned out later that through Esther's mutual love and affection for her foster father, she would risk her life to save him, and the rest of her people. This story tells about how she steps in to prove to the King that her foster father isn't the insolent rebel that his enemies try to make him out to be and not only prevents his execution, but turns the tables on his enemies and gets Mordecai a high position in the Kingdom. Their devotion to God, their courage, and their loyalty to each other and the rest of the Jewish people have been remembered for centuries. This relationship born out of loss gained them protection and wonderful blessings.</span></div><div class="article_text" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 1.4; margin-bottom: 20px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 10px; outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />

<span style="color: black; font-size: 14pt;">Charleston, <i>VT - 6/28/2011</i> -</span><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> <span style="color: black;">On September 22, 2009 at approximately 4:16PM, Vermont State troopers investigated a single vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Line Farm Road and VT Route 5A in Charleston, Vermont. Several fire and rescue agencies were called to the scene. The driver, Christine Billis age 42 of Brownington, sustained injuries and was transported to North Country Hospital. The passenger, Charles Billis age 57 of Brownington, Christine's husband, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated. Charles Billis was also transported to North Country Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.<u></u><u></u></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 13px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">

<span style="color: black; font-size: 14pt;">The initial crash investigation conducted at the scene by the Vermont State Police indicated that the Billis' vehicle was traveling south on VT Route 5A when it struck a large pine tree near the intersection of Line Farm Road. The crash occurred during the day, under clear skies, and dry road conditions. Speed was not considered a factor by the investigating trooper; however Charles Billis was not wearing a seat belt. At the time of the crash it was believed that the driver may have experienced a medical episode that might have contributed to the crash.<u></u><u></u></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 13px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">

<span style="color: black; font-size: 14pt;">Recently information became available regarding the investigation which led police to believe that the crash may not have been accidental. As a result of the continuing investigation by the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, detectives determined that the crash was the result of an intentional act by Christine Billis</span><span style="font-size: 14pt;">.<span style="color: black;"><u></u><u></u></span></span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">This is a seriously big scoop. I'm well aware. I need to handle it like I have tried to handle everything else in this horrific situation: responsibly, and by the Grace of God. The media bombards us with stories. The media is just a group of people who tell stories from the outside looking in. By that I mean, these folks are not a part of the stories they are reporting on. They have to discover the facts before they know them. Good investigative reporters will dig for the facts, then discern the right context to frame these facts in, and there, you have a true story. Kinda wooden and two dimentional, but true. An investigative blogger is a journalist of a slightly different sort. Investigative bloggers are in the story, recording their own experiences, with attached feelings and emotions, adding a third dimension in a blog; which is nothing more than a digital diary that everyone in the world is not only allowed, but <i>encouraged</i> to read. No secrets. I explain it in this blurb I keep somewhere on this news blog, trying to get other investigative bloggers of a similar mind-set to help me build it up:</span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large; line-height: 20px;"><i>I’m not a reporter or a journalist who is prevented from making myself part of the story. I’m a blogger, and these stories are a part of me. Therefore, expect me to be making more than a cameo appearance in them. I know I’m not the only one out here who has had a life. I think there is enough material here to give a general idea of the kind of News Blog I'm trying to create. Wanna join me? Writers wanted: Especially those who are ready to graduate from writing for hokey content farms like Factoidz and Ezine Articles. I welcome anyone with a good story to share. I will help anyone with a good scoop to investigate. Bring it on! (I’ll share revenue) No slander, no gossip -just true, emotionally riveting, newsworthy drama.</i></span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I was the informant that worked with the Vermont State Police over a period of about seven months, gathering recordings of repeated confessions by Chrissy Billis, stating that she drove into the tree purposely, as she had planned for months, that clear September afternoon of September 22, 2009, killing her legally blind husband, Charlie Billis, 57, beloved father and stepfather to two amazing young Christian girls, Corrina and Cat, who were ages 14 and 9 when they saw their dad off to Heaven. At the time of the crash, Charlie was not wearing a seat belt, and was sleeping.</span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="border-collapse: collapse; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">From what Chrissy told me, the impact of the crash caused Charlie's aorta to tear, and he bled to death from this heart wound. She told me more than once, in a dark, ironic and humorous tone, "Charlie always said he was going to die of a broken heart." </span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I met Chrissy on <a href="http://okcupid.com/">OKCupid.com</a> an online dating site where I've kept a profile for over a year. We were somehow a 98% match. Chrissy called me her twin brother from another mother...I think the matchmaker robot just perceived that I am a sucker for ruthless women. It must have obtained data regarding my ex wives. Chrissy and I never had a sexual relationship. I have been discerning a vocation in the Catholic Church, and have been on a two year test drive with the celibacy thing before I commit long term. Plus, not to sound judgmental, but between the filthiness, the promiscuity, the hard drugs, the neglect of her children, the smoking and the murdering, I found the woman about as attractive as a bucket full of wriggling peckers.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I had a certain intuition, even when we first instant messaged, that she made herself a widow. A few phone calls later, before we had even met in person, she confessed very remorsefully. I prayed with her over the phone, asking with her for the Lord's forgiveness. I explained that I wasn't a priest, and that I think she should experience the sacrament of reconciliation. I got her into RCIA with Father Mike at St. Mary Star of the Sea, in Newport. She dropped out of the classes after just a few. She said she knew that God had forgiven her, and she was "off being grounded" I told her weather she sought her forgiveness and reconciliation with God the Catholic way or the Protestant way, it didn't matter. Although, I said that I was sure it needed to be more of a process than just blurting out a confession over the phone to some guy you just met on the Internet, and sobbing through a short, but heart-felt prayer.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I felt called in a mystical way to this family crisis -a story in itself for later. I made sure I put justice on the back burner and focused on love and mercy first, and ensuring her kids were safe. I knew I had to convince her to turn herself in. I ran that by my friend Father Ciprion, and he agreed. I was working to that end, when about eight weeks after she confessed to me, we had a falling out. She was high on oxys that she and an accomplice stole from our sick friend, who we had just helped move from VT to CT. She stole $60 out of my wallet, and by the end of some other drama involving her accomplice...she threatened to kill me if I ever recorded her confessions and turned her in. So after she said that, I put justice on the front burner and... I recorded her confession and turned her in.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Now Chrissy is sitting in jail, and beginning the true process of "conscience clearing" that leads to a full and real reconciliation with God, and your own soul after committing such a grave sin as premeditated murder. She is off to a rocky start because before she got arraigned she found out that I was the one who busted her, and freaked out to the point she couldn't be arraigned, and was ordered by Judge Bent to go for a competency review. She checked out as selfish and immature, but sane -from what her oldest daughter Brandi, 24, said. She rescinded my guardianship of the girls that we had just gotten the paper work notarized for before she knew she would be arrested. Her daughters preferred, even after they knew I worked with the police to bring their mother to justice, that I be their guardian. Corrina said "I did the right thing." Cat said during one of our prayers for her mother, that her mom was going to clear her conscience while she was in jail, and she would feel better -body and soul...(I'm not paraphrasing here, if you know these girls, you know they are brilliant!) and she painted her fingernails yellow and wrote F_E_E_L_B_E_T_T_E_R on each nail. So now a very unnecessary custody battle is raging, and making a bigger mess of this mess. But we have some good people involved, helping to ensure the right outcome happens, and our Lord is faithful. It's only been two weeks, and we expect things to start to settle soon. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I'll keep everyone posted. Corrina is an excellent writer and will be speaking for herself in this story. Cat is also an excellent writer! She is only eleven, and won't be reading this blog. She has handled the truth about this horrible situation with grace and courage far beyond her years, but she can be spared the gory details. Those of us who are mature enough to handle digesting and discussing these hard cold truths in all their dark reality should join in with what those who wear the scapular are called to do:</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">

But be constructive. </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse;">Do you get it dear audience?</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse;"> </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse;">We are trying to do something different here than what you get on TV news. We are trying to learn from this story, and somehow be changed for the better by it, as individuals and as a society. Maybe gain insight as to how to prevent something like this from happening again. We want to reach out to those hurt in this tragedy and say and do some things that might dry their tears. Anything other than that is just some asocial form of rubber-necking, and if that's what you are about then go find another train wreck to gawk at. Otherwise the consensus of all rational people that I've spoken to so far who are most closely affected by this tragedy, are praying for the perfect combination of justice and mercy. Please join us in that prayer.</span></span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;">Time Magazine named Angelo Mozilo as one of the top 25 people responsible for the financial crisis we are currently deep into here in these great United States. I chose this former boss of mine, and financier of two of my homes, as one of the top 25 people responsible for my own current financial crisis. I lost one home, and am currently in the process of battling to save my other one. Here is the story of the one I lost:</span><br />

Oh yeah, I left out: Former homeowners. It takes $400,000,000.00 and free luxuries like California Country <a _fcksavedurl="http://factoidz.com/a-diy-guide-to-installing-a-bathroom-exhaust-fan-part-1/" href="http://factoidz.com/a-diy-guide-to-installing-a-bathroom-exhaust-fan-part-1/"></a>Club memberships to feed a gulping sperm whale like Mr. Mozilo. We Leland's were sporting some good tans the summer of '07 when we built all those stone walls on his property -while he was golfing. I used to work for Mr. Mozillo. Not just building a house for his company, but also as a loan officer for Countrywide. Uh-oh. I saw first hand how Countrywide does business. Ohhh...The stories I could tell! Will tell. Because I didn't do any of that sub-prime crap. My hands are clean. As a matter of fact, I went </span></span><i style="color: #333333; line-height: 22px;">against</i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 22px;"> company policy, and refinanced customers who already had a loan with us. This was called, according to my manager: “eating our young” So much for doing what they could to help poor folk afford their mortgages. I said “no, it's keeping our kids under our own roof” -I was paid ½ commission for these portfolio refinances; and eventually asked the “do you want to quit or be fired?” question. Here at countrywide, we'll have none of that "being fair to our customers" malarkey.</span></span></span></div><div style="background-color: white; border-bottom-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-left-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-left-style: solid; border-left-width: 1px; border-right-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-right-style: solid; border-right-width: 1px; border-top-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-top-style: solid; border-top-width: 1px; color: #333333; line-height: 22px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 10px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;">What did the crash cost Mozilo? He got out just in time. Hmmm...Inside information? Nah, damn good foresight! We were supposed to move into this beautiful house I built when it was done, but could not afford to because I was under financed throughout the construction, and of course undervalued when complete...This house lost over $140,000.00 in value while we were building it. My primary residence that Countrywide also held the mortgage on, also lost well over 50% in value. It's now worth $140,000.00 less than I owe on it, but it's my home and I'm grateful to still be barely hanging on to it. I have many good ideas about how I could help us out of this mess -and give this sad story a happy ending. If only I could get through Countrywide's voice jail and speak to a real person authorized to make human decisions. </span></div><div style="background-color: white; border-bottom-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-left-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-left-style: solid; border-left-width: 1px; border-right-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-right-style: solid; border-right-width: 1px; border-top-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-top-style: solid; border-top-width: 1px; color: #333333; line-height: 22px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 10px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;">Customer service still sucks, huh? When you hire analysts to figure out how to prevent as many people as possible from getting any of the money you got from the government to help these people Mozilo screwed over, your not helping your reputation. 80% of the mortgages done by Countrywide were fraudulent. 80% fraudulent. </ul><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large; line-height: 22px;">We've learned what happens when so-called professionals work for commission. I understand that a professional, you know, a guy who wears a tie and makes people sign papers, does what brings credit to his profession, in this case, the mortgage profession: Lending money for interest and holding real estate assets as collateral. A professional woman does what is right for her client and she acts as an agent in their best interest. Not everyone understands how mortgages work, and they count on a professional to tell them what's right for them. For all this honorable crap...and number-crunching and phone talking; they should get a professional's salary. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large; line-height: 22px;"><br />

However, other lenders were pulling ahead of them. As soon as they changed to a commission structure, they shot to the top and became the Country's largest mortgage loan originator, and largest inflater of the housing bubble. My next post will expose the commission game, and how things factored to cause the downfall of the industry...no wait, the industry still thrives, of course, it's too big to fail. The commission game led directly to the downfall of many good people -in bad mortgage deals, that the so-called professionals put them in. Some of these professionals were making $60,000 in one month, in commissions. </span></div></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;"><br />

It took two months for the decision. It was a complicated case, thanks to Judith's lying and wind-bagging. But now she has to write me a check for over $500 (plus interest)<br />
<br />
That doesn't cover anywhere near what she burned me for...I sued for $4,200, and that represented $20 per hour for over 200 hours of work she got out of me, without paying me a dime or sticking to the trade deal we made. Stay away from this woman if you do any kind of contracting work. She is bad news. She is a con artist (for a living)<br />
<br />
If you have already been ripped off by her, please contact me and I'll get your story posted. Society needs to realize that there are a lot of honest contractors getting ripped off by some people in the community that they work hard for. It's not always consumers being ripped off by contractors.<br />

Small Claims Court Judge Devin McLaughlin rules that the owner of Panton General Store, in Vergennes Vermont, was breaking Vermont labor law by refusing to pay employees for training. He grants plaintiff Kevin Leland award of $200 plus interest.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">If you have been unfortunate enough to have worked for Jacques “Andy” Megroz, for minimum wage, under the agreement that you do not get paid for training or to close out the register at night, you have some money coming to you! I just sued him today in small claims court for $200 -and won! Contact me and I’ll tell you how you can fill out a couple simple forms and get your check as well. After you enjoy reading this blog post where I roast his fat ass for fun and profit (Profit -if you shop at my Amazon store after you enjoy my blog) just leave a comment at the bottom, and I’ll walk you through it. It’s easy. It’s so worth it too! Muhuhahahahaha....</span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">This chump called me a thief. Big mistake. Things have been tough on me financially since the <a href="http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1129460/ill_take_the_blame_for_the_housing.html?cat=54">housing market crash</a> cost me everything I ever owned: two houses I built myself, two brand new cars, and one well used wife. But when my poverty gets to a point that I end up stealing from a low-life twerp like Andy Megroz...Somebody please shoot me.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Jacques “Andy” Megroz owner of Panton General Store is a:</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><b>Rape victim-</b> Funny story: Andy did yard work in the summer, and after about thirty minutes to an hour tops, he would come waddling in the store huffing and phewing, and bitching about the heat and humidity as he wiped sweat off his brow with the back of his hand. One day, while my son Levi was visiting, and helping out at the store with me, Andy performed his workin’ man act in front of us. He was drenched in sweat, the elastic in his pony tail half way down, hair disheveled, dirt on his knees and wearing a T-shirt that was all torn around the neck and sleeve. After his performance he looked wearily at my son and I, maybe looking for sympathy. I said “Andy, you should change that shirt, you look like a rape victim.” We laughed our asses off while Andy stompped away in his clogs to go look for sympathy in a place where he would more likely find it: In the dictionary between ‘shit’ and ‘syphilis.’ When I texted Levi today to tell him I won my case, he sent out congrats, and we laughed all over again at this ridiculous man... </span><br />

Last summer I was working in the store when Andy stopped in and watched the breaking news with me. President Obama had just made British Petroleum (BP) cough up thirty two billion for the oil spill they caused on the coast of the U.S. I said to Andy “You gotta give Obama credit. He really rang their bells.” Andy didn’t know me well at this point. Even so, he stared at me blankly and said “I don’t have to give him credit for anything. I hate that fucking nigger!” Way to define <i>yourself</i> in one short statement, Andy. Bigot. </span><br />

I am considering an offer to work for his 2012 campaign, doing what I am doing here...Blogging, writing, social networking etc. Yeah, I’m an Obama fan, like my Godson Evan, but that’s not the reason why I felt like grabbing Megroz by the pony tail, and kicking his fat ass right out of his clogs. One of the three loves of my life was a classy, too classy for me in fact, British-Nigerean beauty, a Magistrate and a writer. I wanted to punch him in the mouth for her honor too, and then there is my oldest friend, but still...You just shouldn’t be a white racist pig. It’s gross, and it makes everyone, like people who share your ethnicity, want to knee you in the balls.</span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><b>Vermont Hater, Tax Evader-</b> I tell my flat-lander friends and family that I didn’t move to Vermont, I immigrated. I love this state! I know I can never be a “real Vermonter.” I accept that. But know that when VT declares her independence, I’ll be right on the front lines during the revolution...not really, but really Vermont, I love ya, man. Thanks for everything.</span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">When I sold a chinsy styrofoam cooler that Andy paid $3 for and charged $9...I was told not to hit the “taxable item” button. “Call it all food” Andy said “They aren’t getting any money from me. Fuck this state!” C’mon State of Vermont, all together now...”No Andy, fuck <i>you</i>!”</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">He did say that I could hit the taxable button on certain deli items. He figured if he already ass-raped his customer to the tune of ‘$4.25 for a Bologna sandwich on sliced bread’ what’s another quarter?</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><b>Straw Boss-</b> <a href="http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=straw+boss">Urban Dictionary definition for ‘straw boss’</a> - <i>A nigga who is given a low paying job and low ranking position but in some way feels he has some authority. </i></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Is that not Andy? The only one who would even give a scab like him a position where he could be in charge of someone, would be himself -with lots of Daddy’s help I’m sure.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><b>Slanderer-</b> He called me a thief... Big mistake. See?</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><b>Gossip-</b> Man, did he run his mouth about people. They would barely get out the door, after he hob-knobbed with them like he was trying to get their vote, he would point and tell me “That guy was scheduled for a vasectomy. A week before he had the operation, he knocked up the bitch he was pokin’ behind his wife’s back. That’s her with him...And the kid. He got divorced and they ended up having it.”</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">His employees weren’t safe from his mouth either: This one is a dyke, that one is a beast, this one is a dumb bitch. I hope these former employees go after him for their money. He might have to write so many $200 checks that he’ll be forced to sell the store and the Harley and move back to New York where he belongs. If you are Andy’s employee or former employee, contact me. I’ll keep it confidential if you want, but really, does anyone need to sweat this douche bag? I think not. Come forward, get paid, and bust this loser’s balls. He desperately deserves it; I did and it was so rewarding and fun, that I may not be done.</span><br />

<iframe align="left" frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="no" src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=camandsheands-20&o=1&p=8&l=bpl&asins=B004HFS6Z0&fc1=000000&IS2=1&lt1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" style="align: left; height: 245px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 5px; width: 131px;"></iframe></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px;">To put competitive intelligence in simple to understand terms, I want to present the mystery shopper. Everyone has heard of mystery shopping. Not many have related this practice to competitive intelligence though. Really, this is what I would consider a very ethical form of intelligence gathering, especially if conducted like in the following scenario:</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">A manufacturer of skateboard decks hires a mystery shopper to hit up some shops that carry their product and also those of their competition. This hired gun is not very well versed in skateboards. This is a good thing. Sometimes it is hard to “play dumb.” The gatherer of competitive intelligence wants to get educated...What better test of the sellers understanding of their products pros and cons? They will also get an ear full of word-on-the-street information on how they compare to their competition.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">If the mystery shopper is an elite skateboarder, and maybe even sponsored by some equipment manufacturers, his own fame and recognition would cause his cover to be blown as soon as he steps through the door. However, if he can pass undetected (good acting skills are a must) he will be better suited to get more detailed comparisons. He can steer the conversation and even stir up debate over the different minute aspects of the different brands. If the shop owner is knowledgeable, then the mystery shopper who also knows his stuff could get a better load of actionable intel.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">If a start-up company with a tight budget is going to put anything into competitive intelligence, hiring a mystery shopper will get them quite a bit of ethical bang for their competitive intelligence buck. Companies don’t have to be little start-ups or in the fortune 500 class in order to benefit from knowing how they are being compared to their competition. Any business can benefit from authentic feedback.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I say “authentic feedback” because the mystery shopper approach I think gets a more naturally voiced opinion than say, a focus group. Sometimes when invited to give an opinion when you know it is being intently listened to, a person can kinda act like they are on camera. This can cause the person being knowingly and willingly pumped for information get a bit wooden. People can’t help it, it’s a natural reaction.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Mystery shoppers many times can be bought, trading for the products they are researching too, saving the business even more cash when gathering vital information that will keep them ahead of their competition or finding a niche in the industry where they can dominate. Focus groups can be very expensive and tough to organize and manage. The mystery shopper is more efficient.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Mystery shopping has an unethical side as well. In the previous example, the company is getting information about their competition from their customers and retailers, who would probably be willing to cough it up anyway. They are just being illusive about who they are. They aren’t wasting their competitor’s time and money. They’re not getting their info from the competition themselves, like they would be if they pumped their competitors for info by acting like a prospective buyer at a trade show for instance. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Judith Giusto, a self proclaimed corporate spy (unless she is speaking on the record, then she is a competitive intelligence agent for a legitimate agency named Fletcher CSI) used this approach on me and others to glean a boat load of valuable information by pretending to be in the market for major demolition and construction services. She even feigned a desire to collaborate on forming a nonprofit animal shelter that would help support her farm operation that is really just a front for her spying job that she works out of her home at Round Barn Merinos Farm in Ferrisburg Vermont.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Judith is the latest in a string of people who throughout my career dangled the prospect of a good job in my face while they received a lot of valuable brainpower from me in exchange for these empty promises. I have had this problem to varying degrees. I would say about 1 in 8 random bids is a window shopper, or mystery shopper. I am not including the group of customers that come by way of recommendation by another trusted client. These customers don’t pull that. They don’t want to look like a douche in front of their friends. This is why social networking and advertising within these new social networks is changing the way we trade. It’s in it’s infancy, but this word of mouth approach is going to completely overhaul advertising the way blogging has transformed journalism. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">As a contractor, I’ve had a lot of my time and money wasted by mystery shoppers of the unethical sort. Unethical competitive intelligence operatives that have crossed my path have the same modus operandi: no intention of actually doing business with you. Builders, or any other contractor, who provide services as opposed to products, can lose big-time when a free estimate turns into a free design consultation. There are ways of doing a little counter intelligence to screen for mystery shoppers who utilize this trick....Stay tuned for “The Value of Competitive </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Counter</span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"> Intelligence” </span>Kevin Lelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16131037919903735546noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7891853385573131791.post-58333320778537747912011-04-02T10:03:00.000-07:002018-05-18T12:45:05.795-07:00Competitive Intelligence vs. Industrial Espionage: What’s the Difference?<span><iframe align="left" frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="no" src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=kdeliktheghos-20&o=1&p=8&l=bpl&asins=0275981401&fc1=000000&IS2=1&lt1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" style="align: left; height: 245px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 5px; width: 131px;"></iframe><span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Is there a great expanse of gray area dividing these two practices? My guess is that there is not. I’m going to say that they overlap. A lot. Industrial espionage or corporate spying is illegal. Kinda.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span></span></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."-Sun Tzu, The Art of War, 511 b.c.<br />
<br />
Like armies in battle, business organizations must have a thorough understanding of what they are up against to succeed. Competitive intelligence (CI) is the legal and ethical process of collecting, analyzing, and applying information about the capabilities, vulnerabilities, and intentions of the competition. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span><span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Economic Espionage is conducted by governments in the International arena. Outside of corporate espionage, or competitive intelligence, it’s all about national security. There’s those fuzzy lines again, if you are in the business of being a country. What makes it right when it's not government sponsored? It's just business competition.</span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Do consumers benefit from competition? We are told that we do. It seems to me that in certain arenas, like the development of drugs and new treatments for the sick, money and effort would be better spent if it focused on the research and development of these drugs itself. Instead, it ends up being all about the payoff.</span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Of course the workmen are worth their wage. We all need to get paid. But unfortunately, this highly competitive, healing-for-hire attitude causes less potentially profitable illnesses to get the attention and resources required to develop cures. These type of diseases and disorders are commonly referred to as "orphan diseases" for this reason. </span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">There is a market for gathering actionable intelligence needed to grab a bigger share of the payoff on developing drugs and treatments for common diseases. Disorders like erectile dysfunction get the attention of all sorts of highly skilled, intelligent people. Unfortunately, those who don't have much of a sex life because they died of an orphan disease -are ignored.</span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">It doesn't seem ethical to compete so fiercely to come up with a treatment for limp-dick while someone is slowly dying of Lou Gherig's disease. When the practice of competitive intelligence starts off on an unethical foot, how many more steps does it have to take before becoming what could be called industrial espionage? </span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">What do people like Judith Giusto or her boss, Chad Stimson at Fletcher CSI consider to be the difference? How does their profession <em>benefit</em> the health industry and patients/consumers? That's what I would like to know. I'm not stating that it doesn't in any way, it just might somehow, but I'm not sure. I have a lot to learn about this obscure, complicated but intriguing realm of the corporate world. I welcome their comments. Anyone else with insights into the intelligence industry, especially in how it affects the drug industry, is very welcome to offer their thoughts here. </span></span></span><br />

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Hi Chad,</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I'm not trying to be a jerk, it's just that I got royaly screwed by one of your employees, Judith Giusto. I tried very hard to settle this with her but she would not budge. I probably don't completely understand what it is that your company does, I could only relate it as Judith explained it to me. I wanted you to be cognizant of the blog I posted last night if you are not already.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I hint around for a payment in exchange for deleting it. I'm trying to be careful about what I do with my writing. I'm trying to be an investigative blogger, not an extortionist. Either way, I'm sure that you can understand that the ultimate goal of writing, or any work for that matter, is to get paid. Judith is threatening to have me arrested. I have already received a call from the VT State Police warning me not to contact her. I will not. The police said that there was a good chance that I will be arrested and charged if I don't take down the blog.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I refused to remove it. I offered to remove contact information concerning Judith and Jeanne, but that is all I'm willing to do at the moment. If I get arrested, I would expect the blog to pretty much go viral, especially if I do a bunch of SEO work to it. This could launch my investigative blogging career. Obviously, this story doesn't put your company, or a least your big-mouthed employee in a good light.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I would be willing to discuss this situation with you, remembering that you or your company did nothing to harm me. Please respond by email. If you would like to have a discussion completely off the record, I would be glad to meet with you and would sign a non-disclosure agreement promising to keep our discussion private.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Kevin,</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Neither I nor my company has anything to do with your dispute with Judith Giusto. I respectfully ask that you remove all references to my company, judith's employment, jeanne chickanosky' employment, me, and any and all references to spying, corporate espionage, etc. from the blog.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">The dispute between you and judith is not at all related to my company, so please remove all such references.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">...had nothing to do with our dispute until Judith dragged you into it. <span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Seriously, that blog was a lot of work. The true life experience that it's based on was torture. Why should I flush my intellectual property, just because it interferes with your money-making pursuits, that incidentally, screw with the intellectual pursuits of others?</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">You are welcome to buy my copy, as is: $7,000.00. I'll rewrite it only mentioning the screw-job I got from Judith, but with nothing about her or Jeanne's employment with Fletcher. I'll write nothing about Fletcher itself, and sign and honor a non-disclosure agreement.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Otherwise, I'm going to leave it as is, and dig a little deeper into what it is your company does, and continue to post what I find out. It's seems complicated, but it's interesting and will make a great thread of what's called "long tail content." I suspect it could cause me to cross paths with people who might recognize that I'm as intelligent as Judith, yet I possess a lot more common sense. It could earn a good amount of revenue over time and lead to an excellent job offer.</span><br />

Featured in this article is Oliver, a Bactrian camel, and my old buddy. I was briefly mentioned in the piece as “the recently hired farm hand.” Montana, Judith’s son, is pictured with Oliver. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">The article put a very positive spin on the operation. This had much to do with how Judith presented her management of the farm to the reporter, Santiago Azpurua-Borras. In this post I want to read between the lines of that press release, put a stop to the spin, and bring the readers -especially my fellow friends of animals, back to hard reality.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“When you live in a place that is as exposed as my farm is, your life becomes very public whether you like it or not. People complain to animal control, and I have to address those complaints. Once you’ve been reported to animal control you have to explain how you’re not abusing your animals.”</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“You could get annoyed,” Giusto admitted.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">As much as Judith asserts that her animals are not abused, I beg to differ. Within days of my arrival at the farm, I had to drag an emaciated dead lamb out to the back of the property, and throw it over the fence for the coyotes. Weeks later, I found another lamb, that I never even noticed mixed in with the rest of the herd, stiff and dead, just outside the barn. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I pried it’s stiff frozen carcass from the ground and put it in the well house to thaw out. I skinned it with plans to at least make some use of the hide, and salvaged the meat for my new puppy. There wasn’t even a handful of meat on the entire animal. It should not have been mixed in with the ewe herd. It should have been kept separately, with it’s mother, until it was big and strong enough to compete with the others for hay during the winter months. At this time it was the end of January, 2010.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“But the thing to do is to educate people. Sometimes people complain that the sheep are outside during the winter, and I say, ‘If you lived your life with a wool sweater on, you would be warm.’”</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Judith needs to be educated herself. She needs to fish or cut bait. This fiber farm, with it’s reported $63,000.00 in annual sales, according to Judith, “is not profitable -but it could be” I can understand operating a small farm, keeping wonderful animals like sheep, goats, alpacas and a camel as sort of a “hobby” that hopefully at least comes close to breaking even. However, this is not the function of this farm according to what I know about Judith Giusto’s occupation and avocations.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><a href="http://judithgiustovskevinleland.blogspot.com/2011/03/judith-giusto-corporate-spy.html">Judith is a corporate spy, who works for Fletcher CSI</a>, a company that deals in “competitive intelligence.” She works mainly from home, calling on the developers of new drugs, earning her salary “a good salary” as she put it, pumping those people for information that Fletcher turns around and sells to their competition. Round Barn Merinos is nothing more than a front for Judith’s “real job.” I don’t think the farm is even a hobby for her. It’s just a pain in her ass.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">If you know Judith, and have seen her operate, you’ll agree that she is a micro managing control freak. She is a very proud woman, who will never admit defeat. This is what motivates her to take advantage of others, like myself, and her own son Montana. He and I worked hard together to try to get the farm cleaned up, fixed up, and maybe even profitable. All we got from Judith for our efforts were complaints, highly detailed instructions, and general bitching. I didn’t receive a single dollar for my 200+ hours of labor, and she confiscated my seafood store and other materials. I just sued her, and am waiting for the Judges decision. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">When Giusto receives complaints that Oliver’s water trough is empty in the peak of summer’s heat, she must explain that Oliver, as is appropriate for his breed, receives water once a day, and that he doesn’t take his water from a trough, but from a hose.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">But despite people’s ignorance, Giusto is thankful for the visitors.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">So about the Camel, my buddy Oliver. Judith, in true form, is full of shit with this statement. Oliver does in fact drink out of a 30 gallon tub that he shares with the alpaca and all the ewes. When I worked at the farm I filled it twice a day, and if it wasn’t frozen over, it was usually empty every time. I offered to install a watering system, but she refused to put out any money. The camel was never given any grains other than leftover bread and cereal I would bring him, and use as rewards for his training. I spent time every day walking him, and getting him to obey commands. Eventually earning his trust enough that he allowed me to climb on. I wanted him as docile as possible for the flood of visitors I was expecting to Judith’s farm where I would sell seafood.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“People stop all the time,” Giusto said.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“One of the reasons I did get Oliver was to help bring recognition to the farm. Sometimes it’s inundated with people.”</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">In an email exchange with Judith, the one that I think helped to get me fired, she mentions how she can barely tolerate the intrusion on her privacy when potential customers visit the farm. At the risk of getting fired for criticising the boss, I wrote:</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I know that this is your home. I'm also aware that you do your job AND run your business out of your home. You showed me and my family the store in the front part of your house where you sell wool products so I left with that impression, and developed my plans and ideas based on an opportunity to have access to an awesome, well known ( thanks to Ollie ) retail location on rt 7, to sell my seafood. Having ran a business and also having done my loan officer job out of my own house, I can completely understand how that can be more of a curse than a blessing. Yes, it's an invasion of privacy but also a convenience. But as you said, it's also a necessity. Having a store yet not being enthusiastic about the patronage of customers is not the best business outlook I've ever heard, Judith!</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">My plans included training Ollie to cope with customer traffic, controlling that traffic as politely and safely as possible while limiting the impact on our privacy, especially your privacy. I was going to do some interesting things to make myself a Ferrisburg celebrity! Overall, all my plans that don't have to do with improving the farm are about drawing people to it. So, before I start in on that I'll wait for your response to my well intentioned criticism of your business outlook.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Oliver responds well to the attention. Camels are social animals by nature.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“He is a very intelligent animal,” Giusto said of Oliver.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“He wants people to acknowledge him and he’ll run and play for attention.” This behavior took Giusto, who had been accustomed to sheep, by surprise.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">“It was an eye-opener,” Giusto said.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Attention is not something that poor Oliver gets much of, especially since I left. I tried to leave on good enough terms with Judith that I might be able to continue working with him, but it was useless. Judith should really open her eyes and act on what she claims to already realize. I told her:</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">-I continue working with Ollie and continuing his training that I'm making great progress with, even if you don't recognize it and think he would be better off cooped up in the barn 24/7 with no socialization or human interaction. He is NOT just an "appreciable asset" as you put it. He is a pet, a creature with a soul, and should be treated humanely and paid attention to.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;"></span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">I’m hoping that organizations that protect animals will contact me for my help in improving the situation for this amazing creature. I will be glad to do what I can to see that Oliver gets a better life. I would love to see him again! <a href="mailto:klleland@gmail.com">klleland@gmail.com</a></span><br />

Judith offered me a deal to settle this without having to bother the judge again. True to form, it was a typical Judith-Giusto-style ruse, where she didn’t even intend to honor the deal she was in the process of making. It’s all just a joke to her. It is kinda funny the lengths this woman goes to just for an opportunity to hear herself talk. Look at this exchange and get a chuckle:<br /><br />K- I didn’t do any SEO work to make that Blog I posted searchable. Do you think I can get paid to take it down?<br /><br />J- I don’t know. Do you need to pay someone to take it down?<br /><br />K- No. I can take it down.<br /><br />J- So...I don’t understand the question. What does that mean? What are you trying to say, “can I get paid to take it down?”<br /><br />K- Yeah, like would Fletcher be interested it not having that information broadcast on the Internet?<br /><br />J- Are you saying that this is like extortion? That if I pay you...<br /><br />K- No, it’s like as simple as...<br /><br />J- How much do you...What’s your price?<br /><br />K- Um... To address the extortion issue: I don’t see it as extortion. It’s trading in information. It’s exactly what you do for a living. Right?<br /><br />J- How much money do you want from me so that you won’t post that on the Internet?<br /><br />K- It’s already on the Internet. It’s just a matter of doing search engine optimization to make it findable.<br /><br />J- How much money do you want from me not to make this search engine ...whatever...findable?<br /><br />K- Well, like I warned you in my emails, you at least have to start with the money you owe me for the work I did for you, for the amount I’m suing you for in court today. That’s $4,200.00 right there, plus the building. If I can’t get the building back then it’s got to be over $5,000.00 which we max out at $5,000.00 here in court.<br /><br />J- Do you think like to keep you off the Internet, like, maybe $6,000.00 would work? Would that be a good number for you? If I had my check book, right now, would that work for you? $6,000.00 to keep you from destroying my life?<br /><br />K- A check right here today?<br /><br />J- Yeah.<br /><br />K- And we don’t have to go in front of the judge and finish this thing?<br /><br />J- Sure.<br /><br />K- Um... Would I be able to get my building too?<br /><br />J- $6,000.00 plus the building and you won’t do anything to hurt my career?<br /><br />K- I’ll take that off the Internet immediately, as we sit here.<br /><br />J- I would too if someone made that offer to me. You gotta be out of your mind.<br /><br />K- What do you mean “out of my mind”<br /><br />J- To think that I was serious.<br /><br />K- Oh...I didn’t know if you were serious or not. I didn’t get too excited. You know, I’m not out to ruin your life. I mean, I’ve lost a career Judith. That’s what brought me up to Vermont in the first place. It didn’t ruin my life. It’s losing a job. Unless you identify yourself by what you do for a living...I’m more than that.<br /><br />J- I’m sure you are... I don’t know what to tell you. I’m willing to take my chances.<br /><br />K- Alright. I’m willing to let that stand as a blog that I can make money off of anyway. I’ll put more video, pictures...It’s what I wanted to do in the first place. I was full of ideas for the farm and your business. That was part of it, you know, in a positive way.<br /><br />J- Part of it was blogging about what I do for a living? Sending emails to my coworkers?<br /><br />K- Blogging about the camel, and what you do for a living, obviously not in a negative way. I didn’t have to treat you in a negative way until you screwed me over. Accepting all that work and time from me without giving me a dime? Are you out of <em>your</em> mind? You think I’m gonna roll over on that? Of course not!<br /><br />J- Alright, I’ll just chance it. Life’s a crap shoot.<br /><br />K- No. Life is a gift.<br /><br />J- Good.Kevin Lelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16131037919903735546noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7891853385573131791.post-53866036775420421162011-03-24T11:50:00.001-07:002018-05-18T12:45:05.556-07:00Camels and Shepherds and Spys Oh My!<div><div style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span id="internal-source-marker_0.11161996726877987" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; vertical-align: baseline;">Weird name for a Blog, huh? -I know, I spelled "spys" wrong...Just checkin' if you was payin' attention!
